CHANGES OF NOTE FOR AUGUST

FOOD BANK DONATIONS
The CWL will be collecting items for the Food Bank from August 15-29 to assist families with the beginning of the school year in September. There will be a box located at the entrance of the church for these items. Your generous donations will be greatly appreciated!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)
Our Lady Queen of Families Parish is hosting its third annual Vacation Bible School –“Faithful Adventures of the Holy Heroes” from August 24 – 27, at 110 Ashford Drive, Mount Pearl. It is open to kids ages 5-7 & 8-10. This camp is a great opportunity for kids to learn about the Catholic faith in a fun & immersive environment. Centre for Life Family Fun Day/ Walk for Life
SAVE THE DATE
Sat. September 12th at Divine Mercy Parish 340 A Newfoundland Drive - 11am- 2pm . There will be face painting, games, live music, BBQ., 11:30 am demonstrations by Tec Nurtur of coding children's video games, building /coding a robot rover , plus balloon twisting creations from 12:30 - 1:30!
Sponsor sheets are available at the entrance of the Church. Mark your calendar and plan to attend in support of the Centre for Life's community outreach services. Rain date is Saturday, September 26th.
REGISTRATION FOR THE CATECHETICAL PROGRAM
Registration for Sacramental Preparation will take place at the Parish Hall on
Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026 at 7:00 pm. This is a three-year program.
Registration is for parent/guardian only.
Children must be six years of age by Dec. 31, 2026. Cost is $25.00 for one child or $40.00 per family. For further information feel free to contact Pat Burton; burtonpatpb@gmail.com.

A Universal Music deal, six albums, and a Britain's Got Talent run followed — yet through it all, he never left the priesthood behind. Now, as part of his 2026 Open Road, Open Heart Tour, Fr. ST. EDWARD’S PARISH MUSICAL EVENING - MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Our Musical evening is fast approaching, and tickets are on sale. Why not give the gift of music for a great night out? If you know someone who would enjoy the concert, share the word and bring a friend. Reviews from last year were great and we look forward to another wonderful evening together.
