YOUTH RETREAT OCTOBER  24–25 AT ST. EDWARD’S PARISH

WITH NET CANADA

NET teams (National Evangelization Teams) are groups of young adults (late-teens/early twenties) who volunteer to travel across Canada offering exciting and engaging Catholic youth retreats to schools and parishes. This year a NET team of 9 young people will be coming to Newfoundland, and offering a retreat at St. Edward’s Parish, CBS on Friday October 24th and Saturday the 25th. Youth from grades 8–12 are invited to attend. The retreat will run from 6:30–9pm on Friday and continue Saturday from 10am–4pm followed by a parish Mass at 4pm.

Lunch will be provided on Saturday and an optional supper available after the 4pm Mass for those who wish to stay.

For more information on NET Canada visit: https://www.netcanada.ca

There is no cost. However, if you or your child wishes to attend, please contact St. Edward’s Parish office by phone (709 834–9481) or email (Stedwardsparish@outlook.com) to register so we can plan for food and space accordingly (please specify if you wish to stay for the supper on Saturday). If you have any questions, please direct your call or email to Fr. James Fleming.

**As well, we will need to provide accommodations for the NET team for at least three nights. If you can billet one or more team members at your home, please contact St. Edward’s Parish office. This would be a tremendous help.
